INTELLIGENT REAR VIEW MIRROR
Go from mirror to monitor at the flip of a switch. A rear hatch camera expands your rear field of vision, brightens light conditions, and helps you see around passengers or cargo. Gain confidence when your obstructions disappear.
AROUND VIEW MONITOR
The Intelligent Around View Monitor has four cameras that give you a 360° birds-eye view of your vehicle so you can squeeze through city streets or nab a tough parking spot.
DRIVER ASSIST TECHNOLOGIES
INTELLIGENT EMERGENCY BRAKING
Intelligent Emergency Braking can help save you from a potential frontal collision. It monitors your speed and distance between you and the car ahead and can let you know if you need to slow down. It can also automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a collision or lessen the severity of an impact.
INTELLIGENT FORWARD COLLISION WARNING
X-Terra is watching two vehicles ahead, even when you can’t see what’s going on up front. And when it detects sudden deceleration in front of you, it gives you a warning to slow down
BLIND SPOT WARNING
Blind Spot Warning keeps an eye on the blind spot area and gives you a heads-up if it detects a vehicle hiding there.
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING
Lane Departure Warning helps make sure you change lanes only when you mean to. If the system detects that you’re drifting over, it’ll warn you.
REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT
When you’re backing out of a space, Rear Cross Traffic Alert watches around the rear of your X-Terra, warning you about cars it detects creeping up on you from either side.
INTELLIGENT DRIVER ALERTNESS
Intelligent Driver Alertness monitors your steering patterns and if it detects you might need a break, it alerts you with a chime and a coffee cup icon on your display.
INTELLIGENT AUTO HEADLIGHTS
Nissan’s Intelligent Auto Headlights react to light conditions outside, automatically turning your lights on and off when needed. They also react to your windshield wipers, automatically turning on after just four swipes.

SIX AIRBAGS
The Nissan Advanced Airbag System includes dual-stage supplemental front airbags with seat belt and occupant-classification sensors. In addition, X-Terra is equipped with front seat-mounted side-impact supplemental airbags, and roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental airbags with rollover sensor.
ZONE BODY CONSTRUCTION
When a collision is unavoidable, Zone Body construction helps maintain the integrity of the passenger compartment with strategically placed crumple zones and other reinforced areas.
BRAKING ASSISTANCE
Electronic Brake Force Distribution sends extra force to the rear brakes when you have additional weight in the vehicle, while Brake Assist helps apply maximum braking force if it detects a hard braking situation.
ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM
The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) rapidly pumps the brakes during hard braking to help prevent your wheels from locking, helping you maintain steering control so you can better avoid obstacles.
TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM
X-Terra’s Tyre Pressure Monitoring System can let you know whenever a tyre is low.
VEHICLE DYNAMIC CONTROL
VDC monitors your steering, braking, and the vehicle’s stability. Working with the Traction Control System it will reduce engine output and apply brake pressure to specific wheels in order to keep you on your intended path.
CHILD SEAT COMPATIBILITY
ISOFIX is another way we’re working to keep children safe. The easy-to-use system lets you secure compatible child restraints in the second row without having to use seat belts or a locking chip.
